Watch Trailer: Florence Pugh Won’t Keep Calm as She Continues in Olivia Wilde’s ‘Don’t Worry Darling’

“It’s all about control,” says Florence Pugh in a new ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ trailer. Olivia Wilde’s second directing effort sees the ‘Little Women’ Oscar nominee reevaluate her home, her husband (Harry Styles), and reality when cracks begin to surface in her utopian community, Victory.

Victory is described as “a different way”, a “better way”. It is “safe and secure” and offers “things money can’t buy”. Alice (Pugh) has her doubts. “Keep calm and carry on,” she warned him. The spot suggests that just isn’t possible – Alice’s life is unfolding and she’s unable to pretend otherwise.

Wilde made her directorial debut with “Booksmart” in 2019. Her on-screen credits include “Richard Jewell,” the “TRON” franchise, and “House.”

Pugh’s best-known credits include “Black Widow,” “Little Women,” and “Midsommar.”

Written by “Booksmart” scribe Katie Silberman, “Don’t Worry Darling” hits theaters September 23. Wilde and Gemma Chan (“The Eternals”) co-star.
