The Warner Bros network. Discovery Sports launches a weekly cross-platform sports show featuring big names on May 4.
“The Power of Sport,” an 18-week magazine show, will look at the sports week ahead while accessing the archives of Warner Bros. Discovery Sports to look back on some of the iconic sporting moments of the past.
Talents featured on the show will include Janja Garnbret, the first-ever woman to win an Olympic gold medal in sport climbing; Susie Wolff, CEO, ROKiT Venturi Racing, Formula E, which aims to engage and inspire female talent to bring diversity to motorsport; Six-time World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea; three-time MXGP world champion Tim Gajser; Bartosz Zmarzlik, double Speedway Grand Prix world champion; World Superbike Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu; and Stephen Roche, 1987 Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and World Championship winner.
The show will be narrated by emerging voices, including golf presenter Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Henni Koyack, freelance journalist Anne-Marie Batson and journalists Hugh Woozencroft and Jordan Jarrett Bryan.
