In a recent interview with – India, the film’s director, Karan Malhotra, opened up about casting Ranbir Kapoor in his action adventure. He revealed that the
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
was always his first choice for the film and that he and his wife Ekta didn’t think of any other actors when they wrote the screenplay. He added that when they finished writing the script, they started imagining Ranbir in the main character.
Karan told the portal, “I think he is at such a stage in his career that he is maturing into more mature roles and having the opportunity to portray Ranbir in such a role was great and luckily he agreed to make the movie. »
Sharing his experience of
actor, Karan said, “Ranbir is an all-around director actor, it’s a pleasure to work with him.
Ranbir Kapoor ko aap ek taang pe khada kardo, ulta kardo, harness pe latka do, it will do everything without any problems or complaints. And as a director, that’s very valuable to me. »
has Ranbir Kapoor locking horns with Sanjay Dutt’s character, Shuddh Singh, a ruthless cop while Vaani Kapoor plays a traveling entertainer. Karan Malhotra previously clarified that this starring Ranbir-Sanjay is a fictional story based in 1871 which is influenced by that era and some historical movements that took place at the time.
