President of the nation’s largest teachers’ union pledges to force schools to promote ‘gay’ and ‘trans’ curricula

Anyone who pays the slightest heed to America’s teachers’ unions is well aware of the insidious drive prevalent in many school systems to warp the impressionable minds of our young children, but I’ve decided to do a quick jab at this story – primarily to reinforce the reality of the left’s obsession with forcing gay and trans “education” on children as young as kindergarten.

Either way, Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association (NEA) — the nation’s largest teachers’ union — told delegates at the start of the NEA’s Representative Assembly in Chicago on Sunday that 2016 was the year of a “fatal election”, one that made it clear that the United States Supreme Court would become “radicalized”.

Translation: The evil Donald Trump ‘radicalized’ SCOTUS by appointing three Associate Justices who would typically vote to uphold the US Constitution rather than attempt to legislate from the bench. That was exactly the case when votes from Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett allowed the 5-4 majority opinion to overturn Roe versus Wade, Properly refer the issue of abortion to elected officials in all 50 states.

Additional translation: When liberals don’t get what they want, they lie about conservatives.

Together, as a union, we will claim public education as a common good and ensure that our schools are places where everyone, EVERYONE, can learn, grow and thrive. The #RedForEd movement continues.

“Shockingly,” the “socialist-led RedforEd Movement” seems to be much more interested in radical indoctrination than in promoting quality education. Exactly the same can be said of the NEA.

“We knew we would feel the effects of a radicalized Supreme Court making decisions that do not reflect America’s values views,” Pringle told NEA delegates. Oh good? “Radicalized”? Let’s see the next good dose of radicalism in your speech, Mrs. Pringle.

We will fight relentlessly for the rights of our LGBTQ plus students and educators. We will say “gay”; we will say “trans”; we will use words that validate our students and their families that encourage them to walk in their authenticity, to love themselves fully to be who they are meant to be.

As Star Network News also noted, the NEA is providing a “toolkit” of LGBTQ+ “resources” to public school teachers to help them support “transgender and non-binary students” and be “more inclusive of LGBTQ+ history in their classrooms, and to end LGBTQ+ prejudice and intolerance in our public schools.

About the deer reversal, Pringle also opted for the full-metal left wing liar dive. I insist, mine:

We knew the ground had changed and the stage was set to further distance us from America’s promise to all Americans, from school prayer decisions that attack religious freedomat checks that threaten the right to universal public educationto the devastating long-term impact of the Supreme Court’s decision to hijack the fundamental freedom to decide for ourselves when and how to have a family and the care we need.

Allowing private prayer in schools is not “an attack on religious freedom”, Ms. Pringle; it’s the preservation of religious freedom for those who choose to pray. And thank God – again, if you will – for the Constitutionalists on the Supreme Court. As my colleague Streiff reported in late June, SCOTUS, in a 6-3 decision, ruled that a school district in left-leaning nirvana Seattle, Washington, could not discipline (in this case, fire) a football coach for praying the 50-yard line at the end of games.

As for the “good guys who threaten the right to universal public education,” Pringle was dishonest at best, outright lying at worst. (Choose “B.”) What school vouchers threaten, Ms. Pringle, are powerful teachers’ unions, not to mention mediocre teachers in mediocre schools. What about SCOTUS? In late June, the Supreme Court struck down a Maine law that excluded most religious private schools from a voucher program in place at similar secular schools. Even NBC News said SCOTUS was right.

And as for the ridiculous idea that the Supreme Court’s overturning of deer “hijacked basic freedom”, or prevented women (and men) from deciding “when and how to have a family”, it’s just more of the same old worn liberal lie. Note to women on the left: conservatives are not at all concerned with the choices you make about your body. What worries us a lot are the little defenseless bodies in your bodies – and only you are responsible for their be there.

The bottom line:

When it comes to “say gay,” “say trans,” or whatever letter of the increasingly long LGBTQIA+ acronym you want to “say,” decisions adults make about their own sexuality, “identifying gender” and whatever they choose to do at – Where with – their body is solely their choice. It goes without saying. Personally, I don’t care.

However, twisted adults who attempt to twist the minds of impressionable young children, especially against the wishes of the parents of children so afflicted, should be the business of everything decent Americans – not that of the radical left and its immoral hold on public education.
