Police are looking for a suspect, considered armed and dangerous

CHILLIWACK, B.C. — A shooting at a home in Chilliwack, B.C., left two women dead and one man injured.

The Upper Fraser Valley Regional RCMP Detachment says officers have been called to the residence on McNaught Ave. near Yard Rd. around 11 a.m. Thursday for reports of gunshots.

Upon arrival, they found the bodies of a woman and a second woman with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

She was airlifted to hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

The police are looking for Eric John Shestalo, 50, considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators believe the attack was targeted and the suspect was known to the victims.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken control of the case and is working closely with the Chilliwack RCMP UFVRD, the BC Coroners Service and the Integrated RCMP Forensic Identification (IFIS).
