No one was really surprised when Teresa Giudice’s ill-advised wedding included last-minute drama.
Rumors of a serious petty feud between Teresa and Melissa Gorga have been circulating all week.
Naturally, more rumors followed.
Is Melissa really planning on leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey after his last bitter argument with Teresa?

On Thursday night, Melissa Gorga took to her Instagram story.
Yes, she opened up about her strained relationship with her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice.
But some fans do, she accuses, putting words in his mouth.

“People take bits and pieces from my podcast,” Melissa wrote, “and assume I’m quitting the show.”
She commented: “That’s how the rumors start.”
Melissa announced, “I never said I was leaving the show.”

“I was just clarifying how we felt after a tough weekend,” Melissa clarified.
“We have no plans to leave,” she later confirmed.
Just in case anyone missed the context, Melissa included a tag: “#RHONJ”.

Melissa spoke at length about her conflict with Teresa.
In particular, as we all know, she and Joe ultimately didn’t attend Tre’s wedding last weekend.
It was a last minute cancellation. But the fight that spawned it was apparently much more dramatic.

“Obviously we didn’t attend your sister’s wedding,” she acknowledged on her podcast.
“We have a long list of reasons in our heads,” she detailed.
Melissa added: “Obviously something happened during the filming finale of the The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

Obviously, she can’t spell the events of the show. It would be a spoiler.
But she could let’s just say, as awkward as it was for the bride’s brother and SIL to step down, showing up would have been even weirder.
“There were a lot of reasons Joe and I were saying it would be very strange,” Melissa said.

“Including everyone in this room, by the way,” Melissa explained.
She expected people to “look at Joe and me and say, like, ‘Yeah, it would be very strange for you guys to just be sitting on the pews tomorrow, wishing them well on their wedding day. .’”
Melissa then pointed out, “That would be weird.”

Although she and Joe don’t appear to have any plans to quit, their status as castmates may be an issue with Tre.
“What may upset you is that we actually accepted… the invitation, that we accepted the proposal,” Melissa said.
She added: “Yeah, we did. Did we do this? 100 per cent. Did she, deep down, not want us to do this? I am on.”

Melissa then theorized, “I’m sure that’s what annoyed her.”
“But guess what?” she asked.
Melissa pointed out, “I can seize an opportunity like anyone else.”

“She did this. It was all up to her. That’s what she really wanted,” Joe said of their absence from the wedding.
“She didn’t want you at the wedding,” he noted. “She didn’t want any of my children at the wedding.”
Painfully, Joe added, “She barely wanted me. She hates us. She really didn’t want us there.
