John Wick 4 trailer and poster unveiled at Comic-Con!

There were rumors that Lionsgate might share the first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 at San Diego Comic-Con, and luckily for us…those rumbles were just for the money. I feel like it’s been far too long since John Wick has appeared on our screens, so I’m excited to check out his latest action epic! The conclusion of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum found Wick left for dead. After being delivered to the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne), the duo team up to take down the High Table. With John Wick suitably pissed off, the stage is set for an action-packed fourth chapter.

In the trailer, John Wick is seen on the run from the assassins, getting by with a little help from his friends. Bill Skarsgard looks particularly menacing as one of the movie’s biggest villains, and the High Table seems to have had enough of Mr. Wick’s shenanigans. As the boogieman rides into town on a helpless piece of wood, footage jumps from one action sequence to the next, each more elaborate than the last. Near the end of the trailer, we see Keanu Reeves take on Donnie Yen. The duo fight simultaneously with swords and guns. In the final shot, Wick is seen repeatedly hitting someone in the head with nunchucks. I need to lie down. I can’t handle all this badassery.

Big thanks to the Collider directors on the direction panel for scoring an appearance by Keanu Reeves and kicking off the trailer to the big show.

Our very own Chris Bumbray got the first glimpse of Wick jeans 4 at CinemaCon in April, so the new trailer is long overdue for the rest of us. Chad Stahelski once again returned to direct, and he announced that the new film would offer fans a conclusion.

I think Chapter 4 is a good continuation of the previous three movies, and there’s a little conclusion, which is great. We’re introducing a ton of new characters that have a lot to say about John Wick of its past and, of course, of the present. I think it’s brotherhood, it’s hope. That’s what life would really be like as a kind of existential crisis with John, and I think that’s the fun part of the movie.

Chad Stahelski added that “there’s a good conclusion to an emotional thread we’ve already had.The director also teased that they brought in stunt teams from all over the world to Wick jeans 4 and each one added “a bit of movement flavor” this “helps change the scenery.“Keanu Reeves again embodies the legendary assassin in Wick jeans 4 and will be joined by Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, Clancy Brown and Rina Sawayama. The film will also see the return of a few veterans of the franchise, including Laurence Fishburne as the Bowery King, Ian McShane as Winston, manager of the Continental Hotel, and Lance Reddick as Charon, the Continental’s concierge. John Wick: Chapter 4 will debut in theaters on March 24, 2023.
