TORONTO — Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton are heading to the Toronto International Film Festival to premiere their streaming documentary series, “Gutsy.”
The former US Presidential candidate and her daughter will take part in a TIFF industry conference, one of many conversational events organized around the festival’s film lineup.
“Gutsy,” based on the Clintons’ book “The Book of Gutsy Women,” sees the couple talking with some of their heroes, including Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, and Jane Goodall.
The show will air on Apple TV Plus on September 9, while the industry conference will take place from September 9-13.
TIFF itself runs from September 8-18.
The festival’s general manager, Cameron Bailey, says he is inspired by women’s views on social issues and gender politics.
