Fireworks were set off during Dua Lipa’s concert at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto

Toronto police say they are investigating after fireworks were set off during a Dua Lipa concert inside Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night.

Police said at around 11:42 p.m. someone allegedly set off fireworks at the end of the concert.

Videos circulating on social media show several red and yellow fireworks in the middle of the concert hall with thousands of spectators.

Three people suffered minor injuries and were seen by “in-house medical medics” working at the concert, police said.

None of the injured required an ambulance or were taken to hospital.

Police said no damage was done to the property.

As of Thursday morning, police had no information on the suspects and investigators said they were working with on-site security to review CCTV.

It is unclear how the fireworks traveled inside Scotiabank Arena.

“It’s not possible that these fireworks are supposed to explode inside during the dua lipa concert in toronto I was scared if you couldn’t tell,” wrote one person on Twitter who tweeted. posted a video of the fireworks.

Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), the organization that oversees the site, has not yet provided comment.
