Britons urged to ‘find out how much credit’ they have with energy supplier as bills hit £4,200 | Personal finance | Finance

“That means if you can’t pay, there’s a plan. It means there is something like a safety net and a soft landing for all the millions of households that have really struggled to pay their bills this winter.

“On that note, I encourage everyone to find out and establish what degree of credit, if any, they have with their energy company.

‘If it turns out you have a couple of £100s that you didn’t know were there with your energy supplier, that a few £100s could make a huge difference in the middle of a month for a family, that which is tough against this.”

“That’s why I think smart households are going to be concentrating, if they can afford to concentrate, there in the months and years to come.”
