Bling Empire star Kane Lim plans to join Selling Sunset cast

The worlds of Bling Empire and Selling Sunset are about to collide as super-rich real estate developer Kane Lim is set to appear on both shows.

The 32-year-old reality star is one of the founding members of the hit series Bling Empire which lets cameras into the lavish lives of a network of super-wealthy Asian Americans living in Los Angeles.

And now the star – believed to be worth around $20m (£14.3m) – is set to lend his property skills to fellow Netflix series Selling Sunset.

Kane is set to appear in the upcoming sixth season of the hit series which shows off multi-million dollar properties and captures the seething drama between the Oppenheim Group’s competitive estate agents.

Speaking about joining the show, Kane told TMZ in a video interview that he plans to make more money than his fellow realtors on the show.

Kane explained, “I’m actually a developer. I am also an agent, so I represent myself in all transactions.

“As you know, in real estate, every deal gets you 2.5% agent commission and I’m like, ‘I’m not going to give you my 2%. I am Asian! I am smart. I will keep the money”.

“So I got my license four years ago, so I hang out with the Oppenheim band and they’ve been amazing. »

The final season of Selling Sunset hinted that Christine Quinn was fired from the brokerage after she attempted to bribe potential clients into not working with her office rivals.

But with Christine gone, there’s room for a new villain to emerge on the show – but Kane says he won’t fill those particular shoes.

He said, “I’m not really a villain. I don’t think Twitter is saying that right now. For me, I always want to help people on the show. I always talk about my insecurities too.

“I don’t think I want to play the bad guy because I’m not good at drama. Actually, like you say, I don’t have to do this show, and being on it with all these really powerful actors, it’s not easy sometimes.

“And sometimes after the shoot, I’m like, ‘OK guys. I won’t talk to you until we leave.

Kane has caused some drama on Bling Empire, however, as season two sees him accused of stirring up trouble between Kevin Kreider and Kim Lee.

The new season shows Kevin and Kim getting closer, with the male model taking the DJ out on a date.

But Kane throws a wrench in the romance by suggesting that Kevin was dating other women in the run up to his big date with Kim.

Kane’s interference sparks a huge argument between him and Kevin, with the repercussions taking several episodes to resolve.
