Aamir Khan’s Daughter Ira Khan Pens Uplifting Note After Watching Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi

received critical and audience acclaim when it hit theaters in February this year. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also successful in cinemas and hit a lifetime collection of Rs 129.10 Crore at the box office.

Ira Khan, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently watched this film and took to his Instagram account to share his thoughts on this star Alia Bhatt.

Ira shared a long note in which she wrote about how Gangubai had the will to change the evil around her. However, despite her best efforts, she was unable to legalize sex work. She then reflected on the fact that sometimes we are not able to make a big change that involves more than us, but we can be successful in making small changes.

Ira wrote: “You can develop a fierce will to change the evil around you because of the trauma you have experienced, enabling you to ride big waves and overcome many obstacles…even then you cannot not to legalize prostitution. »

She continued: “You can have money, intelligence, skills, connections, drive, passion and good timing… you can REALLY want it and do your best to eradicate hunger. in the world, stopping climate change, eliminating discrimination, achieving gender equality, a systematic paradigm shift…anything even a little big that involves more than you (because you are the only thing you have some control)…the world is much bigger than us. »

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on one of the chapters from Hussain Zaidi’s book “Mafia Queens Of Mumbai”. Apart from Alia, the film also stars Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Jim Sarbh and Shantanu Maheshwari in key roles. Gangubai Kathiawadi is currently streaming on Netflix.
