10 times men shut down the 2022 Met Gala red carpet

As at every Met Gala, individuality came alive in tonight’s rendition of fashion’s biggest annual event! And while people might have expected the ladies to seize the moment, some of the hottest male celebrities in the industry understood, succeeded and even recreated the mission of the gala!

As previously reported, the Met Gala 2022 featured the theme In America: A Fashion Anthology. Gold glamor was the dress code, meaning the looks had to be classic, clean looks that fall under white tie.

Here are 10 looks that ATE and left nothing but camera clicks and sick pics!

Ashton Sanders

Gild me! Ashton Sanders walked the Met Gala carpet wearing the Casablanca brand. Its cut seemed to combine royalty and casualness with what appeared to be a denim-like material. The long-sleeved jacket and pants featured gold trim. Ashton accessorized with dark sunglasses with a gold rim, gold gloves, gold binoculars and black shoes with a gold tip design. To top it off, he put light blue contacts!

Gunna

Gunna nailed the theme with a Thom Browne design that included a black suit with a trench-like jacket. Her ensemble featured gold and vine trimmings. He accessorized the look with a dazzled puppy-shaped handbag. Even the pup’s purse was dressed to impress with a suit and tie!

Leslie Odom Jr.

Leslie Odom Jr. kept her look truly classic with defined cuts that gave her tailored look just the right amount of pizzazz. He wore a black suit with sleeves a little above his elbow, but still above his wrists. The suit jacket also stopped just at her waist and featured a deep V cut with a medium sized black flower adorning her right side. He completed his look with a braided black hat!

Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow opted for the classic Givenchy suit look, but with a bit more sparkle, even down to the shoes! No fancy accessories, but he had his loose curls sitting well.

Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz slipped into a statement look from Chrome Hearts. He wore skin-tight leather pants with a patterned sheer lace top with long sleeves and a floor-length cape.

Future

Future added his own style to the Met Gala mission with his signature Boss suit. He opted for the white tie cut on the suit jacket, including a deep velvet V-neck. His name was sewn into the jacket pocket. Future paired the suit jacket with matching shorts, extra shiny dress shoes and knee high black socks. In true Future fashion, he brought his dark sunglasses on and accessorized with a black, sparkly face mask and diamond gloves.

bad bunny

In his typical style, Bad Bunny went bold with his look for the Met! With her hair in a bun and decorated with gold accessories, the Latin star ditched the standard suit and tie. Instead, he opted for a gold full body, one-piece with puffy shoulders and long sleeves. Beneath the v-neck piece, Bad Bunny wore a collared shirt and black tie.
